Who you are buying from
This site is operated by Adonai Reserve, trading as Adonai Reserve, a business established in India. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business, and “you” means the person placing an order or using the site.
Our full contact details are on the Contact Us page, and the fastest route to a person is always adonai.reserve@gmail.com.
By browsing this site, creating an account or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not place an order.
02
Your account
An account is required to check out. Orders are tied to it, because it is how you see what you ordered, what it cost and where it has got to. So there is no guest checkout on this site.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.
- The details you give must be accurate and current. A delivery address that is wrong at the point of ordering is the single most common reason a parcel never arrives, and it is not one we can undo once a piece has shipped.
- You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, or to abuse this site or another customer.
03
The pieces themselves
Every piece sold here is made to order. Nothing is held in stock. When your payment clears, the order is sent to our production partner, the garment is printed and finished for you specifically, and it is then despatched. This is what makes small runs possible, and it is also the reason the cancellation window in clause 8 is as short as it is.
Because each piece is individually made and finished, small variations are normal and are not faults:
- Print placement can sit up to roughly half an inch from the position shown, and can differ slightly between two pieces of the same design.
- Garment-dyed and washed fabrics vary in depth of colour between production batches. Two blacks bought months apart may not be the identical black.
- Colours on a screen are not colours on cloth. Your display's calibration, brightness and colour profile all sit between the two, and no photograph survives that intact.
- Measurements are taken flat and by hand, with a tolerance of about an inch either way.
Anything outside that (a misprint, a tear, a stain, the wrong size or the wrong piece entirely) is a fault, and clause 8 and the Cancellation and Refund policy say exactly what we do about it.
04
Prices and currency
Every price on this site is quoted and charged in USD. The total shown on the final checkout screen, covering the piece plus the delivery service you chose, is the whole amount we take. We do not add a separate charge after the fact.
- Prices can change at any time. The price that governs your order is the one displayed when you place it, and a later change is never applied backwards.
- If a price is listed in obvious error, such as a decimal point in the wrong place or a piece listed at a fraction of its cost, we may decline the order under clause 5 rather than fulfil it. Where you have already been charged, you are refunded in full.
- If your card or bank account is held in a currency other than USD, your bank converts the charge at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. That conversion and that fee are between you and your bank; we receive neither and cannot refund either.
- Import duties and local taxes, where a destination charges them, are covered in the Shipping and Exchange policy.
05
How an order is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded sale. The confirmation screen acknowledges that we received the order; it is not our acceptance of it. The contract between us is formed when we accept the order and release it to production.
That gap is deliberate, because there are orders we cannot fulfil. We may decline one if:
- payment is not authorised, or is reversed;
- the delivery address cannot be served by any carrier our production partner offers;
- the piece or size cannot be produced, whether through a discontinued blank or a production fault;
- the price or description was listed in error; or
- we have reasonable grounds to believe the order is fraudulent.
If we decline an order you have paid for, you get the full amount back, the piece and the delivery charge both, by the route set out in the Cancellation and Refund policy. There is no restocking charge, because there is no stock.
06
Payment
Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay, Razorpay’s own hosted payment form opens over this site and your card, UPI or bank details are entered there, into Razorpay’s systems.
We never see your card
An order only reaches production once Razorpay has confirmed the payment to us with a verified signature. If a payment fails, or you close the payment window before it completes, no contract is formed and nothing is made. Any amount your bank has placed on hold in the meantime is released by your bank, usually within a few working days.
07
Delivery
Production times, delivery estimates, tracking, customs and what happens to an undeliverable parcel are all set out in the Shipping and Exchange policy, which forms part of these terms.
The estimates given there are estimates. We control how quickly a piece is made and handed to a carrier; we do not control the carrier, the weather, or a customs queue, and we do not guarantee a delivery date.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.
08
Cancellation, faults and refunds
In full in the Cancellation and Refund policy. In short:
- An order can be cancelled if you write to us within 24 hours of placing it, while it is still on hold at the production facility and nothing has been printed. After that it is released to be made, and once a garment is being printed for you it cannot be cancelled.
- A piece that arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or simply not what you ordered is replaced or refunded, at your choice, when you report it within 30 days of delivery with photographs.
- Pieces are not accepted back for a change of mind, an unwanted fit or a size ordered in error.
Made to order. Please read before buying
Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, and where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law wins.
09
How you may use this site
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that interferes with anyone else's use of it;
- attempt to gain access to an account, server or system that is not yours;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the catalogue, imagery or copy, whether by hand or by automation; or
- place orders fraudulently, including with a payment instrument you are not entitled to use.
10
What belongs to us
The Adonai Reserve name, the logotype, the designs printed on the garments, and the photography, copy and layout of this site are our property or are used under licence. Buying a piece buys you the piece. It does not transfer any right in the design on it.
You may not reproduce, print, resell or otherwise commercially exploit the designs or the site’s content without our written permission.
11
Services we depend on
This shop is assembled from services run by other companies: production and fulfilment by Printify and its print providers, payment by Razorpay, hosting by Render. They are named rather than alluded to, here and in the Privacy Policy, so that you know who is involved in an order.
Where one of them fails in a way that stops us fulfilling an order, our obligation is to put you back where you started with a full refund, rather than to compensate you for the failure of a company neither of us controls.
12
Availability of the site
We do not promise that this site will be available uninterrupted or error-free. We may change it, withdraw pieces, or suspend access for maintenance without notice. None of that affects an order we have already accepted.
13
Liability
The site and its content are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties about the site itself.
That does not touch the goods. Pieces we sell must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and clause 8 is how we make that good.
Where we are liable to you in connection with an order, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost opportunity, or the cost of the event you meant to wear the piece to.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14
If something goes wrong between us
Write to us first, at adonai.reserve@gmail.com. Almost everything, whether a missing parcel, a print that came out wrong or a charge you do not recognise, is resolved faster by an email with an order number in it than by any other route, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes that cannot be settled between us are subject to the courts at New Delhi, India. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
15
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version in effect is the one published on this page, and its effective date is shown at the top.
The terms that govern your order are the ones in force on the day you placed it. A later revision is never applied backwards to an order already accepted.
16
Severability and the whole agreement
If any clause here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation and Refund policy and the Shipping and Exchange policy, are the whole of the agreement between us about your order.
